This line chart provides some intriguing data regrading the number of Mobile-phone subscription in Developing countries and Developed countries from 2000 to 2008. Notably, the number of Mobile-phone subscriptions increased sharply from 0.3 billion 2000 to 4 billion 2008 in Developing countries. In stark contrast, that of Mobile-phone subscriptions experienced a gradual rise from 0.6 billion to 1 billion in Developed countries at the same time.
There are two fundamental factors contributing to this social tendency. The primary factor lies in economic growth. With the steady and rapid economic development of those countries, people’s living standard is increasing at a fast rate. As a result, more and more people can afford Mobile-phone in developing countries. Moreover, developing countries has vast population and its substantial growth rate, consequently, there are huge Mobile-phone market and the more Mobile phone will be sell.
